The NDS EZ Roll Pervious Grass Pavers offer a turf brace and load transferring paving to directly place directly on a specific compacted road base. It's designed to shift vehicle weight directly to a supportive base course to stop soil compaction. The honeycomb cells offer protection from vehicle loads as well as lateral containment to prevent soil compaction from stopping healthy root growth. The system is also porous which will allow for fast absorption of stormwater.
The pervious paver provides a compressive strength of 53,683 lbs when empty and 400,000 lbs when loaded with native topsoil. This level of compressive strength allows for the EZ roll to be used in a wide variety of applications from grass parking lots to driveways and access roads.

Constructed for Strength
Pervious grass pavers are a great alternative for a continuous, traditional paving approach. By protecting a root area and stopping soil compaction, the pavers allow healthy grass to thrive in areas that traditionally have impenetrable hardscaping in place.

Installation
The 4 to 6-inch aggregate base must be placed directly below the pavers. The grassroots will grow into the gravel and anchor firmly. If the gravel base is not installed, you will get a cookie-cutter effect preventing the pavers from sinking into the soil.
The Design
The Pervious Grass Paver has rolls that are pre-assembled making it easier to roll out, decreasing installation time, and being more productive.
The product is tested for compressive strength at 53,683 lbs, bare product which means Pervious Paver Roll does not depend on the fill material for load carrying.
The rows are connected and secured with a side-to-side design and end-to-end clips that prevent the paver's mat from moving and separating caused by lateral and horizontal pressure. The powerful locking clips will prevent paver displacement or grid failure that could result from traffic load movement or a change in the ground conditions.
The Material
100% recycled HDPE plastic 50% post-consumer and 50% pre-consumer, HDPE is very rugged and flexible making it ideal for outside exposure and longevity. NDS uses UV inhibitors in the polymer to stop breakdowns in its strength.
Paver Details
The top surface of the hexagonal cell walls is smooth and minus any notches or grooves. The bottom surface of the paver mat offers more than 80% open area for increased absorbency.

- Plan drainage and traffic loads. Confirm your subgrade infiltration; poor soils may need an underdrain.
- Prepare the base. Excavate, compact subgrade, and install a compacted granular base per project load.
- Roll out panels. Unroll side by side; align tongue-and-groove ends.
