Filter fabric (non-woven geotextile, e.g., SRW LS3) separates soil layers, spreads loads to reduce rutting, and lets water pass while filtering fines—helping patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, and drains last longer.
Unroll filter fabric to separate soil from aggregate

Separation: stops base rock from migrating into soft subgrade.
Stabilization: spreads loads to reduce settlement and ruts.

Erosion control: helps retain soils behind walls and under riprap.

Fast Install Steps
- Prep subgrade: remove organics/soft spots; grade smooth.
- Unroll fabric in travel direction; keep flat and wrinkle-free.
- Overlap seams 12–24" (more on weak soils); stagger overlaps.

- Place aggregate in lifts; compact to spec before next lift.
