Root Guard Gopher Wire Rolls is specially designed mesh wire to protect your landscape from gophers. Some of the common uses are under lawns and lining planter boxes.

Gopher wire is a hexagonal wire mesh that measures 3/4" across the flats of the hexagon. The steel wire strand is 20 gauge and galvanized after weaving for ideal strength and corrosion resistance. These specifications were chosen to resist gophers from passing or chewing through it.

Because gopher wire is hot-dipped galvanized after it is woven, it will easily last 6 - 10 years.

The wire is very thick. Completely similar to chicken wire, only thicker. I can only hope that it will deter the gophers from gobbling up my prize winning flowers. I've tried everything else. I just laid it in the ground with a foot of length on all sides. Please work.

I have been combatting gophers in the East County San Diego area, spending thousands in devoured plants, traps, smoke, poison, firearm, golf clubs… solutions to the never-ending battle, and then I found your double galvanized gopher wire!  I have covered ~6,000 square feet of my property as well as encased all of the root systems for newly planted plants and gophers are a thing of the past on my property.  I tell all my friends and neighbors about this product as the only long term solution for burrowing rodents.  Thank you for this life changing expereince of taking control of my beautiful outdoor property!
